What’s your M2M strategy? We’ve helped define the space.
The original M2M marketing company…
BIGfrontier is the only marketing firm in the country that has specialized in developing M2M strategies since the beginning of the decade. We were the company that helped nPhase acheive funding and become acquired twice: once by Qualcomm and once by current owners, Verizon Wireless. We helped M2M Magazine market its events, developed its social network strategy and developed the new name for its rebranded publication: Connected World. Our success in the field is virtually unparalleled and we have worked across multiple business and technology channels to help our clients grow, attract new customers and literally define the space. Our M2M work has consisted of everything from broadcast exposures, national print exposure, blog and social media development, white paper development, speaking engagement development and booking, and overall marketing strategies.Could your company use this kind of thinking to help move your M2M initiatives forward? If so, we’ve got the playbook that will take you to where you’d like to grow. Let’s talk now. nPhase/Qualcomm Case Study
One of the defining moments in the history of M2M occurred when BIGfrontier received a call from a company name Professional Consulting Services. They wanted to launch a new company, which didn’t have a name, and were going to conduct work in a space that had too many names. During the course of our first meeting they explained to us that M2M meant “Mobile to Mobile,” “Mobile to Machine,” Machine to Machine,” and “Machine to Man.” The phenomena they were describing had been recently defined by Gartner Research as the “Pervasive Internet.”
Needless to say, machine or remotely distributed device data could be communicated with and monitored, and most importantly, acted on remotely. And this created a wealth of new business models for manufactures that had found their products commoditized and their market revenues stagnant. The information age had become a critical element for the evolution of the industrial age, and the newly minted nPhase would famously popularize and successfully market this initiative. BIGfrontier worked in tandem with nPhase for six years through their acquisition by Qualcomm, and then an additional two years helping them shape the nPhase M2M methodology into Smart Services.COMPLETE CASE STUDY HERE.
